Admeta was founded in collaboration with Chalmers Innovation in 2002, since then a lot of development of product and business development took the company to a position of a clear presence in Europe and some in the US. After a re-structuring and a management buy out with Chalmers Innovation Seed Fund as an investor in 2010, Admeta focused on the publisher side activities and product. During the spring/summer 2014 the company was approached and acquired by Wide Orbit Inc. - a San Francisco based ad tech company. Still Gothenburg based Admeta set off to new levels of business, growth in focus.

Avinode serves the global air charter industry as the leading B2B platform to buy and sell charter flights. Over 4000 aviation professionals use Avinode daily to charter flights worldwide. The marketplace currently lists over 3000 aircraft with online quoting, availability reports, empty leg postings and picture galleries. Avinode AB is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Avinode Inc., is located in Miami, Florida, USA.

Destly was founded in 2010 and the founders, a married couple, took on Visit Technology as a partner at an early stage. The contact was made through a recommendation and the technical platform brought by Visit seemed a perfect fit for Destly.

The business was to solve the problem of finding the right hotel at the right price, and that many hotel rooms were left vacant. Starting in 2012, Destly conducted flash sales for travel offers towards Nordic customers. A similar concept, Voyage Privé, was already live in France.

Together with Chalmers Innovation, Destly was able to establish and position themselves on the market. That led to them being acquired by Europes fastest growing company in the segment, Travelbird (Rocket Internet).

Icu Intelligence (Playscan) delivers custom made solutions in the field of problem gambling and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) tools.

Playscan AB was developed under the name ICU Intelligence as a Encubator project in 2004/2005, and ran as an Encubator portolio company from 2006 until 2010 when it was acquired by Svenska Spel.

Playscan’s business idea is to optimize and individualize customer interaction, ranging from personalized players, responsibility to effective control of fraud and other unwanted behavior, and doing so in a cost-effective way.

In 2008 Lumina was founded with the focus set at making a difference in the medical dressing field. The technology come from the Brittish medtech company Smith&Nephew, and it was handed over to Encubator and Chalmers School of Entrepreuneurship. The technology has been further improved, and is now secured by massive IP-protection. Several phases of clinical trials has been performed.

The LUMINA FILM is an innovation. It´s a switchable medical adhesive with strong fixation and at the same time an easy removal. During the dialog with healthcare providers it became clear that a large number of patients fall between the focus areas of existing medical dressing offerings. With the innovative new adhesive used in LUMINA FILM, you can now have the best of two worlds – strong fixation and at the same time an easy and skin friendly removal. Less problems for children, elderly or patients with weak skin. And less problems for the treating nurses.

In the end of 2013 a large investment round was done in the company, and our part of the the company was sold to a private investor in the life science area, Next2B.

Nimbell

Nimbell was founded from a project in Chalmers School of Entrepreuneurship and Encubator that was run during 2009. Nimbell develops environmental friendly electric utility vehicles. Users include delivery of post and parcels as well as gardeners in Parks etc. The whole company was sold to one of its cooperation partners, Jotech, in 2015.
