Valys
Valys sensors streamline water purification
The technology behind the company is based on fluorescence spectroscopy research by Professor Kathleen Murphy at Chalmers. The founding team also includes business developers Andrej Krsteski and Sari Alsibai, who have backgrounds in economics, production development, and Chalmers Entrepreneurship School.
Today, water treatment plants use an excessive amount of chemicals unnecessarily. Additionally, activated carbon filters are not utilized to their full capacity. Valys aims to change that with technology built on 20 years of research at Chalmers.
