About 3 to 6 % of newborns require manual ventilation of the lungs to start breathing. Although both under- and overventilation can be harmful, ventilation support is one of the least controlled delivery room interventions. Monivent has developed a new technical solution complementing existing ventilation equipment, both for medical simulation training and clinical use. It provides wireless and continuous feedback on the volumes of air given to the baby supporting safe and effective ventilation.
