This year, it is 10 years since Gapwaves was founded as a company. “We are incredibly proud of the development that has taken place during these years. It has been both challenging and time consuming but above all very fun and engaging to take a research idea to a commercial product”, says Lars-Inge Sjöqvist CEO at Gapwaves.

Lars-Inge has a past in the automotive industry and has previously been CEO of Semcon. Lars-Inge came in contact with Per-Simon Kildal (founder of Gapwaves) in 2015. Already then, Per-Simon had an idea to take the gap waveguide technology to a global market!
