Admeta was founded in collaboration with Chalmers Innovation in 2002, since then a lot of development of product and business development took the company to a position of a clear presence in Europe and some in the US. After a re-structuring and a management buy out with Chalmers Innovation Seed Fund as an investor in 2010, Admeta focused on the publisher side activities and product. During the spring/summer 2014 the company was approached and acquired by Wide Orbit Inc. – a San Francisco based ad tech company. Still Gothenburg based Admeta set off to new levels of business, growth in focus.
