These pharmaceuticals are used in Targeted Alpha Therapy; a promising treatment method for disseminated cancer. The module will enhance clinical research in this field and is essential in order to enable the future treatment of cancer patients using this method. Targeted Alpha Therapy has the potential to improve and save millions of lives. For this to happen, Atley Solutions’ technology is needed.

Atium’s goal is to help create an environment free from toxic heavy metals. We are developing a patent-pending reusable filter technology for removing toxic heavy metals from water. Compared to existing solutions, it is (1) effective at removing very low concentrations of heavy metals; (2) selective, and does not waste capacity on harmless substances; (3) sustainable, since it is reusable, has a low energy consumption and it does not require consumables nor produce any secondary waste.

Envue Technologies offers a revolutionizing patent-pending optical technology called Nanofluidic Scattering Microscopy (NSM) that can provide imaging of single biomolecules in the nanometer size without modifications. When we recycle plastic, it becomes weaker. Recycled plastic is rarely used in high performance applications because it is too weak compared to virgin plastic. Simply put, there is little incentive to use weak recycled waste – which is part of the reason we only recycle 33% in Europe.

Heapster is a peer-to-peer car service where individuals can rent out their car when it is not in use. The service is completely digital so there is no need for the owner and the renter to meet, everything is handled in the Heap-app. To rent a car you simply choose the car you want to book, find it and unlock it through the app. Cars in urban environments unused 95% of the time. This is not sustainable and it is something we want to change. Heapster offers a simple and affordable alternative to other services that are often too expensive for everyday use.
Higate is developing Palats, a digital platform for circular resource management. With Palats, materials and inventory are digitized so that they can be tracked and managed directly through your phone or computer. When it’s time to build, renovate or demolish, Palats makes visible what already exists and how the management affects both the economy and the climate. In this way, we ensure that the lifespan of the equipment is maximized and that unnecessary purchases are avoided. By making circular material and inventory management simple and showing that it can be profitable, we aim to tackle the huge waste problem within the construction and real estate industry. Only in Sweden, the industry generates 10 million tons of waste annually, which accounts for 30% of Swedens’ total waste. This has to change!

Navari is solving a navigation-issue that surgeons encounter during laparoscopic liver surgery when removing liver tumours. Today, the most beneficial way for the patient is to have a tumour removed minimally-invasive, i.e. through laparoscopic surgery. However, surgeons face a big challenge when operating through a limited point of view, trying to orient themselves via the laparoscopic camera. By using existing gadgets and screens in the surgery room, Navari develops a software that provides the surgeon with a live-streamed augmented reality image on top of the already existing image provided by the laparoscopic camera. This helps the surgeons to orient themselves during the surgery, enabling them to locate and remove the tumour in the safest way possible.
