Modvion’s pilot tower is in production

Modvion lowers the cost of wind power energy by 6 %, by making the next generation of towers less costly to produce, easier to transport and manufactured in a renewable material. The first pilot tower of the modular laminated wood design is currently in production in Moelven’s factory in Töreboda. The pilot is a 1:5 scale demonstrator of Modvion’s 150 m wind power tower, made in collaboration with e.g. Energimyndigheten.
