In Singulo Solutions

In Singulo Solutions AB was founded in October 2017 following a five year collaboration of Chalmers Tekniska Högskola and AstraZeneca. In Singulo Solutions next generation of biosensing platform overcomes the limitations of current biosensing methods and advances the drug discovery and development process by delivering more relevant data significantly faster. The proprietary and awarded technology of In Singulo Solutions has already proven its advantages in developing drugs targeting the important membrane proteins. In Singulo Solutions technology has the potential to fundamentally impact the way drugs are developed. With lowered cost, higher precision and more relevant data it will allow to target diseases that are not targeted today.

Eneryield

Accelerating the electrified society through energy analytics, protection- and control of electricity flow using machine learning and deep learning.

Amferia

Problem
Bacterial infections are likely to surpass cancer and heart disease as a number one cause of human deaths in the future with resistant bacteria and overuse of antibiotics.

Solution
A deeptech hydrogel patch where antimicrobial peptides punctures bacterial membranes and destroys the cells without harming surrounding tissue.

Potential
Faster and safer health for animals and humans making sure to fight unnecessary deaths so that more cab survive infections. All on a truly global market.

Amferia develops innovative medical devices to provide solutions to the global antibiotic resistance crisis. Amferia’s core focus is preventive healthcare where the goal is to provide highly efficient anti-infective medical devices that can prevent bacterial infections including those caused by antibiotic resistant bacteria. Our dominant focus is within the wound care sector, producing preventive care wound patches for the pressing need to avoid antibiotic resistant skin infections. Amferia’s proprietary anti-infective technology is a result of several years of research from Chalmers University of Technology and is patent protected.

Stayble Therapeutics

Stayble Therapeutics is a clinical-stage company developing a truly innovative, non-surgical product (STA-363) to permanently alleviate discogenic chronic low back pain (cLBP). Discogenic cLBP is globally one of the costliest and most disabling medical conditions affecting more than 50 million people on a daily basis. STA-363 is a disease-modifying, permanent, single injection treatment. The product vision of STA-363 is to become the new standard of care for patients with discogenic cLBP.

Trine

Trine makes it easy for people to invest in solar energy in growing markets. Their mission is to give people a triple return on investment – being able to earn a profit while making a social and environmental impact.

LumeoTech

Your physical safety is Lumeo Technology’s concern. The company aims to eliminate those moments in lives where you feel helpless, to eliminate the fear and worries in your daily life and let you enjoy every moment to the fullest. By developing effective and user-friendly hardware, Lumeo Technology grants more power, control, and security to the people and enable them to protect what they hold precious.

Enairon

Enairon is developing a system for largescale, cost efficient energy storage. If one can efficiently store energy, one can utilize energy from varying renewable energy sources such as sun and wind and phase out fossil energy. The technology is based on a new principle for compressing air which creates unique opportunities for high efficiency. The technology is patented and has already been successful in a series of prototype tests.

Ophena

Ophena develops innovative equestrian products, which redefine safety, performance, and style for the ambitious rider. Their first product – a revolutionary magnetic safety stirrup – was launched in May 2019. With a product rating of solid 4.94/5 stars (independently verified customer reviews), this product lays the foundation for expansion and growth. Already now, Ophena has customers in over 35 countries and several new products in the pipeline.

DeTecht

DeTecht are developing a crash algorithm for motorcyclists that enable automatic emergency calls when an accident has occurred. This is expected to reduce the emergency response time by 50%. It will also help locate and determine the need of direct emergency treatment. In a situation where the rider is often not able to call for help themselves.

Atium

Clean water is a global challenge, but for Atium it means addressing a specific problem: toxic heavy metals continue to contaminate water systems worldwide, often in forms unseen.

Mercury is among the most hazardous of these metals. It accumulates in the food chain and poses devastating health risks, particularly for pregnant women and young children.

Because mercury can easily dissolve in other liquids, it is difficult to remove once it enters industrial wastewater, and existing removal methods are often inefficient or impractical at industrial scales. Atium was founded to address this gap.

The company has developed a patented, reusable electrochemical filter that removes dissolved mercury from liquid streams with high selectivity and efficiency. The system is designed for demanding industrial environments, including harsh acids in the chemical and mining sectors.

The technology originates from research at Chalmers University of Technology by Associate Professor Björn Wickman. In 2017, he partnered with entrepreneurship students Emma Hanaeus and Johan Björkquist to bring the technology innovation to market.

Atium’s first product launch targets emissions from the dental sector, which is the single largest source of mercury emissions to the public wastewater system in Sweden. It captures high amounts of mercury that would otherwise pass right through into our lakes and rivers.

The company is now expanding into international dental markets as well as scaling up acid treatment solutions for the mining industry. The objective is clear: to make high-efficiency removal of dissolved heavy metals a standard in industrial water treatment.
