2015-12-16
Yesterday at Venture Pitch, Encubation project WPT – Wood Power Technologies was awarded the Bergendahl scholarship of 50 000 SEK. The scholarship is annually awarded to an entrepreneurial project by the Bergendahl foundation. WPT developes Sweden’s first modular wind power tower in a cheap and renewable composite material.
– It feels great to get this external confirmation of the idea. We will use the money from the scholarship to meet potential international customers and buy licenses for simulation software that will enable us to build models for demonstration, says Joakim Örneblad, co-founder of WPT.
Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship students Joakim Örneblad and Otto Lundman has co-founded WPT together with their idea partner David Olivegren, a visionary architect and previous boat builder.
