Chalmers exits Halon
2024-10-02
Chalmers Ventures exits Halon. Halon has been part of Chalmers’ portfolio since 2013. Halon is growing in the international market as the next generation of email infrastructure software. In connection with Chalmers Ventures’ exit, Intera will invest in Halone. As the new owner, Intera will support Halon in accelerating its international growth journey.
Halone’s market is currently seeing double-digit growth. This is a demand driven by rapidly changing business needs, increasing demands for security and compliance, and the market shift to cloud-based architecture.
-The fact that Intera is now taking over the baton is clear proof of the strong position Halon has established as a world leader in email management for the most critical applications. It has been a very exciting and fun journey to contribute to the development to the great position the company has today, and we are very proud to have supported the company in the role of lead investor all the way to the exit, says Håkan Krook, Investment Director at Chalmers Ventures and responsible at Chalmers Innovation Seed Fund AB.
-Halon is today a strong and well-positioned company that is now further strengthened by Intera’s investment. They are the right partner and expertise to scale up the business in Halone’s continued global growth journey.
