ELIRO Technology is developing a new generation of electric motors to
address one of the biggest challenges in electrification. Today’s motors
are often too heavy, expensive, resource-intensive, and inefficient for
many demanding applications. Conventional designs rely on costly rare
earth magnets and often struggle to deliver high torque in a compact
format.

Our patented electric motor architecture combines axial and radial
magnetic flux in a novel way, enabling high torque at low speeds without
the need for a gearbox. The design is compact, lightweight, and
developed with manufacturability and scalability in mind. It also
enables the use of ferrite magnets as an alternative to rare earth
magnets, reducing dependence on critical raw materials while maintaining
high performance.

By making electric propulsion more resource-efficient, affordable, and
easier to manufacture, ELIRO Technology has the potential to accelerate
electrification across multiple industries. We are initially targeting
the marine sector, where our technology can enable more sustainable and
efficient propulsion systems while strengthening supply chain
resilience.
