Iloomina

Iloomina is a prototyping house, providing photonic integrated circuits based on SiN with a record-low loss and high design flexibility. As such, it facilitates development of future solutions in the sectors such as telecommunications, optical sensing, quantum applications. The goal of Iloomina is to become a provider of microcombs — a novel laser source that provides multiple wavelengths. Built in the SiN platform, Iloomina’s microcomb technology is power-efficient, scalable and mass manufacturable. As such it can have tremendous impact on mass-market applications such as datacenter interconnects, replacing the current technology with much needed improvement of energy-efficiency and scalability in data-rates.
