Chalmers Ventures granted 20 MSEK from Vinnova

Chalmers Ventures has been granted 5 MSEK per year for four years from Vinnova. The decision to finance 18 incubators around the country with 55 MSEK yearly is now official. The money is to be used for increasing knowledge-intensive growth companies in Sweden.

– We are happy about the support from Vinnova. But we also see a need for future national and regional investments to be able to take further leaps for more and stronger companies, says Chalmers Ventures CEO Linnéa Lindau.

– In our selection process we have visited all incubators and evaluated their coaching services through interviews. We have used external asessors and the conclusion is that all applying incubators are high class and the competition was very hard, says Vinnovas incubator program responsible Marie Wall.
