1928 Diagnostics winner of Di Startup Tour Gothenburg

1928 Diagnostics, who are developing a service for diagnostics of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, was the winner of DI Startup Tour Gothenburg. They are now in the finals and are competing for an advertising budget of 1 MSEK and an inspirational trip to Silicon Valley.

Yesterday, DI Startup Tour was arranged in Gothenburg – a competition where the editors of DI Digital selected seven companies that got to pitch for a renowned jury and compete for a spot at the finals in Stockholm. Four out of these seven companies are from the Chalmers Ventures Family:

RaceONE – RaceONE is the new free app for sharing and following races live – running, cycling, skiing and much more.
1928 Diagnostics – Revolutionizing how we fight antibiotic resistant bacteria
Sigmastocks – Provides an easy and wise alternative to mutual funds.
TRINE – 1.2 billion people around the world currently lack access to electricity. TRINE seeks to solve this problem by closing the gap between private capital in developed countries and local solar partners in emerging markets.

1928 Diagnostics and TRINE together with Visiba Care were selcted to the top 3 by the jury and when the audience got to vote for the winner 1028 Diagnostics took home the prize. Besides a spot at the finals 1928 Diagnostics will get advise from Nordea and coaching from venture capital firm Moor.
