Yesterday was launch day for Chalmers Ventures, the new subsidiary for Chalmers University of Technology. Seven entrepreneurs with a connection to Chalmers were at the same time introduced as ambassadors, to be possible mentors and inspirers to young startups in Gothenburg.
Marin Lorentzon of Spotify, Alexander Hars of Let's deal, Nina Bake of Episurf, Niklas Berg of Avinode, Linda Elfving of Case5, Christian Berg of Netclean and Patrik Arnesson of Football Addicts have signed on for the task so far.
The ambassadors were presented yesterday evening at Chalmers Ventures launch party, also introducing an initiative called LaunchPad which is an entrepreneurial workspace for students. 350 invited guests were treated to both information and entertainment, such as Martin Rolinski who performed his hits.
Chalmers Ventures coordinates Chalmers Innovation, Encubator, Chalmersinvest and Ciprab, with incubation processes for tech based business ideas. Company CEO is Linnéa Lindau.
