Chalmers Ventures continues its expansion by recruiting the serial entrepreneur Johan Sköld, who will be responsible for developing the revenue side in the value creation. Johan has an over 20 years long successful career within ICT and comes most recently from the Executive Management Team of Knowit. With a more than doubled turnover and over 40 new companies established and acquired, Knowit has during Johan’s time developed into one of the largest IT, design and management consultancy firms in Sweden.
Johan has also developed a private investment business where he under 18 years has co-founded, acquired and developed several companies in various industries. This combination of expertise has been especially interesting for Chalmers Ventures in this recruitment.

Revenues, customers and strong business models are always important for the companies we invest in. In these areas Johan will create great values, so this is a key recruitment for us, says Linnéa Lindau, CEO of Chalmers Ventures

Now that Chalmers Ventures’ ramp up and new possibilities appears, I felt it was a unique opportunity that was offered. The team and many of the portfolio companies are amazing, and the potential is huge. To be a part of this journey is both challenging and exciting. The opportunity to combine my experience with the application of the most modern business development models and innovation in the next generation of fast-growing business is a dream for me. I am passionate about helping others, so to be involved in the build of Sweden’s most value-creating environment for these companies is very exciting, says Johan Sköld.
